Beecher City Defeats South Central
Fischer Tharp scored a game-high fifteen points for SouthCentral, but the Cougars fell short and lost to Beecher City 52-35 Friday
night. Rudy Hablewitz added ten points for South Central, who slipped to 4-13
overall and 0-6 in the NTC. A low-scoring first quarter was in the home team’s
favor as South Central led 6-5 after eight minutes of play. But the Cougars
were out-scored in the three subsequent quarters to stay win-less in league
play.
