Bears Sign Cutler To Seven-Year Deal(Lake Forest, IL) -- The Bears have signed quarterback Jay Cutler to a seven-year contract extension through 2020.
Financial terms were not released, but NFL Network reports the deal is worth 126-million-dollars, with 54-million guaranteed. The 30-year-old was due to become an unrestricted free agent.
Cutler threw for over 26-hundred yards, 19 touchdowns and 12 interceptions in 11 games this season. He missed five games due to injury.
