Bears CB Tillman might miss game for baby's birth
LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) - Chicago Bears star cornerback Charles Tillman might miss Sunday's game against the Houston Texans because of the birth of his daughter.Tillman tells Chicago radio station WSCR-AM that he might not be available because his wife, Jackie, is due to give birth to a girl. She will be the couple's fourth child. Their daughter, Tiana, needed a heart transplant after she was born in 2008.
Tillman says if the baby is born Sunday, "I think I'm going to have to be at the hospital."
Tillman is making a case for defensive player of the year, and he forced four fumbles last Sunday at Tennessee. His teammates on the NFC North leaders expressed their support for him before practice yesterday. Tillman was not available for comment.
