Annies Hand Lady Rams First League Loss
The Centralia Orphan Annies had two reasons to celebratelast night. The celebration that was planned – senior night at CHS. The
celebration that was not – defeating rival Mt. Vernon and ending their
undefeated streak in the South Seven. The Annies earned the hard-fought 50-47
win to improve to 12-12 on the season. Danielle Meadows and Abbey Holtkamp each
had sixteen points for Centralia, while Mt .Vernon’s Hannah Owens also had
sixteen points. Centralia travels to Carlyle Thursday night. Mt. Vernon hosts
Marion with another chance to secure the conference title.
