Woodlawn Bank Robber Shows Up at Same Bank Friday Morning

By Will Doolin, WJBD News

A man suspected of robbing a bank in Woodlawn last month returned the same bank Friday morning.

A white male suspect entered the Community First National Bank of the Heartland in Woodlawn around 9 a.m.  He was recognized by a bank employee as the same person who had robbed the bank in Woodlawn on November 27th.  Upon being recognized, he became confused and left the bank without any money.

He is described as a white male in his mid 20's to mid 30's, approximately 5'08" with a medium/heavy build and a dark mustache.  Anyone with any information is to contact the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office at (618) 244-8004, Jefferson County Crimestoppers at (618) 242-TIPS, or the FBI at (618) 997-6847.
