Woman in Custody in Husband's Stabbing Death
EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. (AP) - East St. Louis police say a woman suspected of stabbing her husband to death is now in custody. Police Chief Michael Floore tells the St. Louis Post-Dispatch the woman has turned herself in and is being jailed, with charges expected in the death Saturday of the 45-year-old victim. Investigators say the man was stabbed in the chest during a reported domestic dispute and was pronounced dead later at a hospital. Police say they recovered a knife at the scene.
