Wayne County Wreck Sends One to HospitalA 53-year-old Fairfield woman was injured in a two vehicle crash in Wayne County early Tuesday night.
State Police say Loretta Kistner was northbound on U.S.45 attempting to turn west onto Old Mt. Vernon Road when she was struck in the rear by an SUV driven by 19-year-old Mycal Atwood of Flora. Kistner was transported by Wayne County Ambulance to Fairfield Memorial Hospital. Atwood escaped injury, but was ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
The crash occurred at 5:34 Tuesday night.
