Vacant House Destroyed by 'Suspicious' Fire
11/22/2012 @ 10:53 AMKell Firemen were called to a fire in a vacant house Wednesday night on the Medlin Road a half mile south of State Route 161. Fire Chief Lonnie McDaneld says the cause of the fire will go down as unknown, but reports it is suspicious because there were no utilities to the home. He reports no further investigation is planned. The ownership of the property has not been determined. Salem Firemen provided mutual aide assistance. The fire call came in at 9:33 Wednesday night.
