Two Sentenced in Marion County CourtA 58-year-old Centralia man has been sentenced to four and a half years in prison. Grant Glenn of South Locust Street had earlier pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance. In addition to the prison time, Glenn was also ordered to forfeit his bond as fine and costs in the case. Glenn was arrested on the cocaine related charge in June of last year.
A 21-year-old Centralia man has pleaded guilty and sentenced on a reduced charge of battery. Bryce McCray of Cormick Street was placed on two years conditional discharge and serve 88 days in jail. He admitted to striking James Watson. McCray had initially been charged in March with aggravated battery for allegedly cutting Watson's hand while attempting to stab him.
