Two Refuse Treatment Following Walnut Hill Road CrashMarion County Sheriff's Deputies say both drivers involved in a wreck at the Walnut Hill and Perrine Street Road intersection south east of Centralia Friday morning refused hospital treatment for their injuries.
Deputies say 25-year-old Jonathan Tate of North Walnut in Centralia had stopped at the stop sign on Perrine Street and then preceded onto the Walnut Hill Road where he collided with a south bound van driven by 45-year-old Stepanie Alvis of Third Street in Kell. Tate was ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and for no insurance.
The wreck occurred at 8:15 Friday morning.
