Two People Injured in Monday Night Centralia Accident

By WJBD News

Two Centralia residents were injured in a two vehicle crash at Noleman and Poplar Streets in Centralia early Monday night.  State Police say an eastbound truck on Noleman driven by 28-year-old Calvin Allgyer of Xenia ran a red light.  The rear of Allgyer's truck was struck by a southbound car traveling through the intersection driven by 56-year-old Desi Powe of Centralia.   Both Powe and a passenger, 17-year-old Sierra McWilliams of Centralia, were taken to St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia for treatment of apparent minor injuries.  Allgyer was ticketed for disobeying a traffic signal.  He escaped injury.  The accident occurred at five Monday night.
