Two People Injured in Centralia Crash Wednesday Night
Two people were injured in a two vehicle crash at Noleman and Elm Street in Centralia early Wednesday night. Centralia Police say 78-year-old Edna Hodge of North Elm in Centralia ran a red light while eastbound on Noleman Street. Her car was struck on the passenger door by a northbound car on Elm Street driven by 35-year-old Christy Cawthon of North Park in Central City. Hodge told police she had slowed when the light turned yellow, but decided to proceed through the intersection. Cawthon was taken to St. Mary's Hospital for treatment, while Hodge complained of pain but refused hospital treatment. She was ticketed for disobeying a traffic control device. The wreck occurred at five Wednesday evening.See other LocalNews news:
