Two Injured in Crash In Front of Salem Wal-Mart

Two people were injured in a two vehicle crash in front of the Salem Wal-mart Store late Tuesday morning.

Salem Police say 85-year-old Marianne Cantrell of South Broadway in Salem pulled from the unsignalized exit from the Wal-mart Store to make a left turn when she collided with a westbound car on West Main driven by 26-year-old Ashley Beck of East Lyford in Salem.

Both Beck and her one month old daughter, Aylah Branch of the same address, were taken to Salem Township Hospital for treatment.  Cantrell was not injured.  She was ticketed for failure to yield exiting a private drive.

The crash occurred at 11:23 Tuesday morning.
