Two Injured When Fight Breaks Out At Foxy Lady in Dix
The Jefferson County Sheriff's Department called Marion County Sheriff's Deputies for mutual aide assistance when the large fight broke out. Jefferson Fire Protection District officials say one person was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital after being struck in the face with a chair. A second person refused hospital treatment for injuries sustained when a glass bottle resulted in a cut to the back of his head.
A fireman on the scene reported broken beer bottles both inside and on the parking lot as well as broken and flipped over chairs. The Jefferson County Sheriff's Department indicated no reports were yet available on the incident. There is no word if any arrests were made or what may have started the fight.
The Marion County Sheriff's Department received the call seeking assistance at 3:10 New Year's morning.
The Foxy Lady describes itself in a recent advertisement as a 24/7 gentlemens club and adult store. Patrons have to bring their own liquor since the business does not have a liquor license.
