Two Injured In West Main Street Crash in SalemBoth drivers were injured in a two vehicle crash on West Main Street at the northbound entrance ramp to I-57 in Salem during the noon hour on Friday.
Salem Police say 20-year-old Cassidy Brooks-Curry of U.S. 50 in Sandoval was eastbound on West Main when she made a left hand turn onto the I-57 entrance ramp in front of a westbound SUV driven by 55-year-old Joann Shehorn of West Elm in Salem.
Brooks-Curry was taken to St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia and Shehorn was taken to Salem Township Hospital for treatment of injuries.
Tickets are pending. The wreck was reported at 12:34 Friday afternoon.
