Two Clay City Residents Hurt In Crash

By Bruce Kropp

Two Clay City residents were injured in a car-pickup truck accident on Wilcox Bridge Lane at the Big Four Road intersection in Clay County.

State Police say 22-year-old Natasha Prather was traveling eastbound on the Wilcox Bridge Lane when she reportedly ran a stop sign and was struck by a south bound pickup driven by 56-year-old Micheal Beals of Stewardson.  Both Prather and a passenger, 17-year-old Brendan Tanner of Clay City, were injured and taken to the Clay County Hospital.

Prather was ticketed for failure to stop at a stop sign.  The crash occurred Thursday morning.
