Trail Cam Leads to Arrest of Centralia Man On Theft Charge

By Bruce Kropp, WJBD News

The Marion County Sheriff's Department has arrested an 18-year-old Centralia man for theft of items from outside his neighbor's home.

Deputies took Brandon Goodiel of East Green Street Road into custody after a trail cam at the home of William Phillips showed the license plate number of Goodiel's truck that was being used to remove some of the item.   Phillips reported a number of items stolen, including a post hole digger, a pickup tail gate, electric fence wire and winder, four and a half feet of six inch pipe and various other items.

Goodiel was taken to the Marion County Jail following his arrest.
