Traffic Stop In Salem Leads to Three Drug Arrests
Three people were arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop by Salem Police Tuesday night.The driver of the car was 24-year-old James Watson of East Olive in Salem. He was arrested for alleged driving under the influence of drugs, possession of under five grams of meth, possession of meth precursors, possession of cannabis and bringing contraband into a penal institution. One of the two passengers, 20-year-old Brandon Rogozinsky of Old Bell Road in Iuka, was arrested for alleged possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. A second passenger, 19-year-old Slade Thompson of South Locust, was arrested on a Salem City Ordinance Violation for possession of synthetic cannabis.
Watson and Rogozinsky was taken to the Marion County Jail, while Thompson was given a notice to appear in court.
