Time Capsule of Former Centralia Elks Building To Be Opened Monday Night

The time capsule placed behind the cornerstone of the former Centralia Elks building on the corner of South Elm and East Broadway will be opened Monday night. The 83rd Anniversary of the time capsule being placed behind the cornerstone was Saturday. The capsule will be opened at 6:30 pm in the Centralia City Council Chambers. The Mayor and city council will join the Elks to open the time capsule. Members of the public also are welcome to attend.
