Three Now Being Sought By Centralia Police In Wednesday Night ShootingCentralia Police say they are seeking three men who allegedly fired multiple shots out of a vehicle in the 900 block of East Rexford late Wednesday night. One of those shots struck 20-year-old James Watson of East Kerr in Centralia in the arm.
Police say the three men being sought are identified as 20-year-old Demetrice Lockett, 22-year-old Roosevelt 'Cooper' McGee, and 26-year-old T.J. Howard all of Centralia. Police say Howard apparently thought Watson was involved in starting a fire that destroyed a vacant mobile home he owned on Howard Street in Centralia. Firemen were fighting the fire a few blocks away when the shooting erupted.
Police say the vehicle occupied by Watson and 25-year-old Jeremy Shered of East Kell in Centralia received multiple gunshot holes to a tire, radiator and the left side of the vehicle. The white Tahoe allegedly occupied by the three men being sought and an unidentified female driver reportedly blocked the path of Shered's car before the shots were fired. Shered escaped injury.
The Tahoe sped off following the incident. The vehicle and its occupants have not been seen since. Anyone with information about the three men are asked to contact the Centralia Police Department.
