Three Injured In Accident on Centralia's Eastside
Three people were injured in a two vehicle crash in the 21-hundred block of East McCoard on the east side of Centralia Thursday morning.Centralia Police say 77-year-old Charles Fischer of Byars Road in Centralia told them he fell asleep and ran into the rear of a car driven by 32-year-old Joyce Barnes of North Maple in Centralia. Barnes had slowed to make a left hand turn. Both drivers and a passenger in the Barnes car, 18-year-old Ayesha Duncan of North Maple in Centralia, were all taken to St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia for treatment of injuries.
Fischer was ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Barnes was ticketed for having no drivers license.
The wreck was reported at 10:09 Thursday morning. Centralia City Firemen also assisted at the scene.
