Three Hurt in Downtown Centralia Crash

By Bruce Kropp, WJBD News

Three people were injured in a two vehicle crash early Saturday night at Broadway and Elm in downtown Centralia.

Centralia Police say a car driven by 26-year-old Jocelyn Pokojski of South Pine in Centralia ran a red light while traveling northbound on Elm Street and collided with an eastbound pickup truck on East Broadway driven by 17-year-old Kaleb Loyd of Adams Street in Junction City.

Both drivers, along with a passenger in the Loyd pickup, 16-year-old Matthew Beshon of Junction City, were all taken to St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia for treatment.  A two-month-old in the Pokojski vehicle, Remy Pokojski, was not injured.

Jocelyn Pokojski was ticketed for disobeying a traffic control device.

The wreck occurred at 5:26 Saturday evening.
