Three Centralia Residents Injured In 3 Motorcycle Crash in Walnut Hill

By Bruce Kropp, WJBD News

Three motorcycles crashed Sunday night when failing to negotiate a curve and driving off the left side of the Walnut Hill Road near the old Centralia Road intersection in Walnut Hill.

State Police identify the three motorcycle drivers as 66-year-old Ronnie Slover, 46-year-old Matthew Nollman and 41-year-old David Lashbrook.  All are from Centralia.

Both Slover and Nollman have been transferred to Barnes Hospital in St. Louis for treatment of injuries.  A passenger on Nollman's motorcycle, 45-year-old Mary Reichman of Centralia, was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Centralia.   Lashbrook escaped major injuries.

Slover was ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.  Nollman was ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, driving under the influence, and no insurance.  State Police say charges are pending against Lashbrook.

The accident occurred at 9:25 Sunday night.
