State Senator Kyle McCarter Opens New 54th District Office
State Senator Kyle McCarter has opened a new district office in Vandalia. The office is located at 310 West Gallatin in Vandalia, across the street from the Old State Capitol.McCarter says he chose Vandalia due to the location and access via local roads and highways. He says his old office in Highland has closed but plans are in the works to increase accessibility.
In addition to the main office in Vandalia, McCarter is planning face-to-face 'virtual office hours' with constituents through video teleconferencing. Virtual office hours will take place in Greenville, Vandalia, Highland, Nashville, Effingham, Salem, O'Fallon and Carlyle. Details of dates and times are being finalized and a schedule will be released soon. When available, it will also be posted on Sen. McCarter's legislative web site at http://senatormccarter.com.

McCarter was reelected to the Senate in the November election to serve the newly created 54th Senate District seat for the next two-years. The district includes all or parts of Bond, Clinton, Effingham, Fayette, Madison, Marion, St. Clair and Washington.
