South College To Be Closed Part of Next Week For Resurfacing
Public Works Director John Pruden says the closure from seven to three Monday through Thursday will allow for the street to be resurfaced. Residents will be allowed to access their driveways, but delays are possible. The road will reopen each evening.
Work is being done on South College Street this week to prepare for the resurfacing. Traffic is down to one lane in places.
Howell Paving of Salem was awarded a $329,000 contract by the City of Salem to complete the project.
