South Central School District Selects Breese Construction FirmThe South Central School Board has hired a Breese Company as the Construction Manager for its upcoming $10-million renovation and expansion of the high school in Farina and grade school in Kinmundy.
Poettker Construction will supply the project superintendent who will oversee all of the work as well as being involved in the planning and bidding process. Poettker was one of three firms interviewed for the job.
Superintendent Rick Batchelor says each firm had supporters on the board, but they finally compromised on Poettker. Batchelor is still hopeful that they can begin moving dirt in August and have the work completed by the start of the 2015-2016 school year.
