Sandoval Seventh Grader Receives Golden Hawk Award
A Sandoval Seventh grader earned a special award last month. Levi Brown received the second ever Golden Hawk Award during an assembly on Friday, October 26th. The award was established to recognize individuals who go above and beyond.
This fall, Brown and other 7th grade students were assigned to complete a mythology project in Marsha Kelly's 7th grade classroom. Brown submitted an outstanding project where he went above and beyond the expectations. He created a sculpture of a golden burial mask that is based on a mask that was thought to belong to King Agamemnon of Ancient Greece. For doing such great work on this assignment Levi was awarded the Golden Hawk Award.
