Sandoval HS Science Team Receives Solar Kit

Sandoval High School's science team received a new Solar Energy Kit on Thursday. The Kit was provided by the Illinois Green Economy Network through their Solar for Schools program in partnership with Kaskaskia College. Sandoval's Science program has been making a name for themselves in a variety of fields. The Agri-science competitors were national finalists. The schools Envirothon team is the current regional champion, and two students competed as state finalists in WYSE. Over the past two years, the school has seen a 117% increase in science scores on the PSAE.
