Salem Woman Arrested After Odin Apartment FightThe Marion County Sheriff's Department has arrested one person and has filed information with the State's Attorney on a second person involved in a Thursday morning altercation at an apartment just outside of Odin.
Sheriff Jerry DeVore reports 18-year-old Abigail Devor of North Shelby in Salem entered an apartment occupied by Dakota O'Dell and Brittany Chambers on East Poplar Street in Odin apparently to confront Chambers about a photo she had allegedly taken.
Devor reportedly struck Chambers, before O'Dell held her down. At that point a person with Devor, 19-year-old Kaityln Cook of Mills Crossing in Salem, allegedly came into the apartment and shoved O'Dell off of Devor. Devor and Cook then left and were located by sheriff's deputies at Cook's residence.
Devor posted bond and was released after being arrested for criminal trespass and battery. Cook was released with information on her involvement sent to the State's Attorney's office.
The sheriff reports there were no injuries. The incident occurred just after ten Thursday morning.
