Salem Post Office Hiring Rural Mail Carriers

The Salem Post Office is on the lookout for those interested in becoming Rual Mail Carriers for Kell and Iuka. No experience is required and training is provided.

Salem Postmaster Suzette Schofield says that the positions available are "Career Path".

Interested applicants should log on to usps.com/employment to search and apply for the positions. Applicants must be able to sort, deliver, and collect mail on foot anf by vehicle under a variety of weather conditions, maintain a professional appearance, have customer service skills, may be required to provide their own vehicle, work variable hours, must be at least 18 years of age, pass a criminal background check and drug test, must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record, and must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident Alien.
