Salem Man Receives Minor Injury In One Vehicle Crash; Driver Still Being Sought

A 29-year-old Salem man was injured in a one vehicle crash on the south side of Salem late Friday night. Marion County Sheriff's Deputies say Eric Childers of Church Road was a passenger in a pickup truck that ran off the 27-hundred block of Church Road into the roadside ditch.

The driver of the truck reportedly fled the scene before deputies arrived. Childers said he did not know the driver. He was taken to Salem Township Hospital for treatment of a facial injury and was later released.

The pickup did not sustain any damage in the crash that occurred just before midnight.
