Salem Firefighters Respond to Wednesday Grass Fires

Salem Firefighters responded to two grass fires Wednesday evening.  One fire on the Paul Road north of Levy Road south of Salem burned up to ten acres.  Firefighters say the property owner is unknown.  They report the cause of the fire is also undetermined.

Firefighters also responded to a call of woods on fire in the 2100 block of Summertime Road.  This fire turned out to be a controlled burn at the Arnold Huelsmann residence.
