Rural Sandoval Fire Called Suspicious
6/19/2013 @ 11:43 AMA Tuesday night fire in rural Sandoval is being investigated as suspicious. Sandoval firefighters say the vacant farm house at the intersection of Sand Ridge and Jolliff Bridge Roads had heavy fire showing when they arrived. Firefighters say they were able to knock down most of the fire quickly, but had difficulty getting to all the hotspots due to the age of the home. Centralia Fire District provided a tanker. The house had no utilities connected. The State Fire Marshal will investigate the suspicious blaze. It's not clear who owns the property. The fire call came in at 11:53 PM.
