Good Crowd Greets Return of Jefferson County Home Show GreetedThe first Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce Home Show in a number of years drew such a good crowd on its first day an additional parking lot had to be open. The show is being held in the new hanger at the Mt. Vernon Outland Airport.
Jefferson County Chamber Executive Director Brandon Bullard says you have another opportunity to see the displays set up by the 45 businesses from noon to four Sunday. "As soon as we even started talking about the home show we had people calling, 'hey we heard you're doing a home show, we have to get in'. So the need was there. I guess we didn't do it for long enough, people really wanted to do it again. A lot of people had come out to the old hanger where we used to do it a long, long time ago. They are glad it is resurrected," said Bullard. "We also have a bunch of new chamber members and new businesses in town that wanted to get their word out. So it has been fantastic all the way around."
Bullard says with the great turnout and interest, the home show will be held once again next year.
