Real Men Cooking Event Planned By Salem Township Hospital Foundation Saturday NightThe Salem Township Hospital Foundation holds their second Real Men Cooking program at the Grace United Methodist Church at 116 East Schwartz in Salem Saturday evening.
Chair Leon Chapman says the program was well accepted last year. "Some of the finest men have donated and prepared some really good food for the people of Salem to test. You can taste and test all of these foods for a one time admission price of $20.00," said Chapman.
Chapman says there will be a large variety. "We have a lot of really different things this year. We're going to have a lot of meats, a lot of old family recipes, and I think people will find it really interesting this year to try the dishes," said Chapman.
Tickets will be available at the door. Proceeds will go to the Hospital Foundation's efforts to raise money to furnish the new all private patient rooms that will be constructed in the upcoming Phase II building renovation and expansion.
