Rain, Sleet, or Snow, Santa Still Comes to Town

In spite of poor weather conditions the magical man tasked with delivering Christmas gifts across the globe, Santa Claus, still spent his Saturday with Salem Children at the Bryan-Bennett Library for the Library's annual Breakfast and Lunch with Santa program, sponsored by the Salem Recreation Department.

According to Claus, expensive, big ticket electronics top the Christmas lists of area children.

"They're looking for Electronic items mostly, iPads, iPods, Kindle Fire, things like that" Claus said. 

Local kids got to eat breakfast or lunch and take pictures with Santa. Kids also made crafts and received small christmas gifts.
