The Veterans Tribute Committee at Kaskaskia College has announced the five seals honoring each branch of the service have arrived on the college's main campus.

The bronze seals are 26 inches in diameter and feature the official seals of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard. The seals will be placed in the warrior's court portion of the tribute facing the bronze sculpture of an American Eagle that arrived over the summer.  The first phase of the project includes the sculptures, warrior's court and two walls with the names and branches of service of up to 25,000 veterans from the counties of Bond, Clinton, Fayette, Marion and Washington.

Meanwhile, the Veterans Tribute Committee has teamed up with Centralia Travel for their latest fund raiser.  Tickets are being sold for a chance to win a two-night, three-day say including airfare and tickets for two to Las Vegas' most popular and talked about performance of Tony and Tina's Wedding at Bally's and KA at the MGM Grand.

Tickets are on sale through members of the Veterans Tribute Committee or by calling Co-Chair Jim Beasley at 292-4461 or Dr. Dee Boswell at 532-0275.
