Police Beat for Wednesday, November 14th, 2012Centralia Police have made an arrest in connection with a residential burglary last January. 27-year-old Jonathan Davis of South Marion in Centralia was arrested and taken to the Marion County Jail on Tuesday after the State Crime Lab matched fingerprints gathered from a TV stand at the home of Dominique Grider on East Broadway to Davis. Davis had earlier been identified as a suspect in the case when his cell phone was found at the home. However, he had claimed to have dropped the phone during an earlier visit to the home. Two TV's were stolen from the Grider home during the burglary.
Three others remain in custody on outstanding warrants. 24-year-old Donald Fyke of South Walnut in Centralia was arrested by sheriff's deputies on a warrant for possession of a controlled substance. 47-year-old Darren Wiggins of Shingle Oak Drive in Salem was arrested on an outstanding warrant when Salem Police were called to a disturbance at his home. 30-year-old Jeffrey Lutz of High Street in Centralia was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant by sheriff's deputies.
