Police Beat for Tuesday, February 5th, 2013
A 19-year-old Centralia woman is in custody at the Marion County Jail for alleged misdemeanor theft and on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant. Katelyn Woolever of Melrose Avenue is accused of taking a phone from Wanda Courtney of South Poplar in Centralia.36-year-old Jason Steinmeyer of South 2nd in Irvington remains in jail after being arrested by Centralia Police on an outstanding Perry County misdemeanor warrant.
31-year-old Alicia Tucker of Granite City remained in custody Tuesday morning after being arrested by sheriff's deputies on an outstanding Madison County warrant.
A 36-year-old Iuka man has posted $650 bond after being arrested on outstanding Jefferson and Clay County warrants.
James Greenwood of North Avenue was picked up by Iuka Police. The Marion County Sheriff's Department is investigating the theft of a tractor battery, vehicle batteries and other miscellaneous items from property owned by Lonalynn Alexander of Brewery Hill Road in Centralia.
