Police Beat for Thursday, May 16th, 2013

A 26-year-old Centralia man has been arrested for failure to register as a sex offender.  The U.S. Marshall's Service and Centralia Police were checking that sex offenders were living at their listed addresses when they learned William Wehking of East McCord had moved out.   Police confirmed he had been staying at another home where children resided.  Wehking is being held in the Marion County Jail on the new charge as well as on an outstanding Clinton County warrant.  

34-year-old Robert Krein of South Poplar in Centralia was arrested by Centralia Police for domestic battery.  He's accused of physically striking his wife Jessica at their home.  

27-year-old Adam Yarbrough of North College in Centralia was arrested by the sheriff's department at the probation office for a probation violation. 

35-year-old Stacy Rinehart of Rinehart Road in Kell remained in custody Thursday morning after being arrested by Sandoval Police for unlawful possession of cannabis.

A 22-year-old Centralia man, Keith Carpenter of Fairway Drive, posted $100 bond and was released after being arrested on an ordinance violation warrant for riding a bicycle without lights.
