Police Beat for Thursday, July 4th, 2013Three people were arrested on driving under the influence charges on Wednesday night in Marion County. 24-year-old Victor Jenkins of Davis Street in Centralia remained in jail Thursday morning for alleged driving under the influence of drugs, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop by Secretary of State Police. 20-year-old Leavon Shadowens of Hagerstown remains in custody after being arrested by State Police for alleged DUI. 24-year-old Rio Hames of Jones Road in Alma posted $100 bond and was released after being arrested for DUI by State Police.
22-year-old Irvin Hendrix of North Hickory in Centralia remained in jail Thursday morning after being arrested by Centralia Police on an outstanding Jackson County misdemeanor warrant and on three counts of violation of an order of protection.
39-year-old Patricia Hill of East Seneff in Salem was arrested by Salem Police for alleged domestic battery. Hill is accused of striking her juvenile son at their home on Wednesday morning.
46-year-old Kimberly Zimmerman of South Elm in Centralia was given a notice to appear in court for possession of less than five grams of methamphetamine. She was arrested by Marion County Sheriff's Deputies. No other details are yet available.
