Police Beat for Thursday, January 17th, 2013A 31-year-old Centralia woman has been arrested by Centralia Police on a felony theft charge. Tammy Henson of Fairway Drive is accused of using a debit card given to her by her mother to purchase gas to make other purchases that overdrew the account by $700.
23-year-old Jerrad Simpson of Deerpath Drive in Centralia was arrested by Centralia Police for alleged forgery of some stolen checks and on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
A 21-year-old Alma woman has been arrested for alleged driving under the influence of drugs and no valid drivers license. Paije Somerville of Boles Street was arrested by State Police. She was released on $300 bond.
18-year-old Tom Tabor of South Vincent in Salem posted $1,000 bond and was released on a warrant to petition to revoke his probation. 36-year-old Marlena Johnson of Cormick Street in Centralia was arrested by Centralia Police on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
The Marion County Sheriff's Department has two theft reports under investigation. Richard Sampson of Bennett Street in Salem reported a CB radio was stolen from his truck while park at a business on Route 37 North in Alma. Johnnie Johnson of Walnut Hill Road in rural Texico reported the theft of 35 feet of copper cable stolen from his barn.
