Police Beat for Sunday, February 10th, 2013A 23-year-old Centralia man is in custody for disorderly conduct for alleged misuse of the 911 emergency phone system. Centralia Police say Dustin Branch of Tracey Terrace called to ask if he had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. He was told 911 was just for emergencies. When Branch called back a second time, police went to the location the call was being made and arrested Branch while he was still on the phone with the dispatcher.
A 23-year-old Centralia man, Victor Jenkins of South Davis, was arrested by Centralia Police for alleged domestic battery. He remained in custody at the Marion County Jail Sunday morning.
