A 52-year-old Centralia man remained in the Marion County Jail Sunday on multiple charges following a traffic stop by State Police.  Michael Lawson of North Locust was arrested for alleged driving under the influence of drugs, possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia and obstructing justice.

19-year-old Devin Starnes of Franklin Street in Carlyle remains in jail after being arrested by Centralia Police for possession of a controlled substance.

Marion County Sheriff's Deputies arrested 37-year-old Mindie Bushue of South Rotan of Salem for possession of drug paraphernalia.  She was taken into custody at a home on Dago Hill Road in rural Iuka where the sheriff's department had been called to a report of a person tearing up items.

27-year-old Jonathan Downs of East 6th in Centralia posted $150 bond and was released after being arrested by Conservation Police for driving on a suspended or revoked license.

The Centralia Fire Department was called Saturday afternoon to wash down gas off the steps of a mobile home and a shed occupied by Denise Rigney in the 100 block of South Walnut.  The gas was allegedly poured onto the steps and shed during a domestic dispute.  Centralia Police say no arrests were made.
