Police Beat for Saturday, November 24th, 2012A 47-year-old Centralia man is being held in the Marion County Jail for alleged assault, battery, and criminal damage to property. Michael Tomshack of Kent Street was arrested on Friday by Wamac Police.
20-year-old Daniel Dulaney of Porter Street in Kinmundy remains in jail after being arrested by Alma Police on an outstanding traffic warrant.
Marion County Sheriff's Deputies arrested two Springfield, Illinois residents for possession of cannabis. 28-year-old Richard Jones and 24-year-old Estrella Ramos were allegedly found smoking cannabis inside a car parked in a driveway off Trust Road in rural Centralia.
19-year-old Teaira Bre Howard of Carbondale posted $200 bond and was released after being arrested by sheriff's deputies on an outstanding Jackson County ordinance violation warrant.
