Police Beat for Saturday, May 18th, 2013

A 31-year-old Salem man has been arrested for residential burglary and an outstanding warrant in a driving under the influence case.  Samuel Hixenbaugh of Cross Road remains in the Marion County Jail.  Salem Police say details are not yet being released on the residential burglary case.

A 21-year-old Carlyle man is being held for alleged aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and on a Marion County ordinance violation warrant.  Adrian Shackleford of Camp Street is accused of displaying a 38 caliber semi automatic after getting into an altercation on Fairway Drive in Centralia.  Shackleford told Centralia Police he did not point the gun at anyone.  

26-year-old Christopher Masterson of South Poplar in Centralia was arrested by Centralia Police for violation of sex offender registration.  

23-year-old David Jarnigin of East Kirkwood in Odin was taken into custody by Salem Police for violation of an order of protection.

34-year-old Mark McClain of East Broadway in Centralia was arrested by Centralia Police for alleged domestic battery.  He is accused of striking Amelia Rivera during an altercation.

63-year-old Jerome Cox of Chicago posted $500 bond and was released after being arrested by sheriff's deputies on a petition to revoke his probation on a DUI warrant.

Two others posted $500 bond apiece and were released on outstanding traffic warrants.  18-year-old Michayla Hark of Ramsey was arrested by Sheriff's Deputies while 25-year-old Ashley Gibson of North Sycamore turned herself in on an outstanding traffic warrant.
