Police Beat for Saturday, January 19th, 2013A 23-year-old Centralia man was arrested for driving under the influence after his car was found in a ditch along the Green Street Road early Saturday morning. Zachery Konhorst was not injured in the accident. He was taken to the Marion County Jail where he was later released on bond.
36-year-old Tony Kresevich of Bicknell Street in Centralia was taken to the Marion County Jail for alleged domestic battery.
Four people were in custody at the Marion County Jail Saturday morning on outstanding warrants. 23-year-old Dierre Hill of East Rexford in Centralia was arrested by Centralia Police on an outstanding felony warrant. 21-year-old Caleb Bushue of East Eagan in Kinmundy and 23-year-old Zachery Maltman of West Kerr in Centralia were both arrested by Marion County Sheriff's Deputies on outstanding misdemeanor warrants. 48-year-old Julie Puterbaugh of South Sycamore Street in Centralia was taken into custody by Centralia Police on an outstanding ordinance violation warrant.
State Police arrested two people following an early Saturday morning traffic stop. The driver, 18-year-old Joey Evans of West McCord Street in Centralia, was given a notice to appear on a 0-tolerance DUI arrest. Passenger 18-year-old Joey Evans of the same address posted $150 bond was released on an outstanding traffic warrant.
Two people were arrested at the probation office Friday on petitions to revoke their probation. 40-year-old Herman Smith Junior of Centreville remains in custody. 26-year-old Nicholas Brehm of South Marion in Central City posted $500 bond and was released.
