Police Beat for Saturday, August 23rd, 2014A 20-year-old Wamac man is in custody for failure to appear on a felony theft charge. James Reeves of Countryview Estates was arrested on Friday by Wamac Police.
Two people were arrested for disorderly conduct following an altercation at their home. 59-year-old Gayla Mooney and 63-year-old William Mooney of Phelps Road both were released after posting $140 bond apiece.
Three people were sent to the Marion County Jail from the courthouse on Friday on petitions to revoke their probation. 31-year-old Steven Edwards of Weber Lane in Irvington, 21-year-old Shrell Tyrone of Carbondale, and 19-year-old Matthew Walton of Van Buren Street in Junction City all were released after posting $300 bond.
36-year-old Crystal McIntosh of South Walnut in Salem posted $150 bond and was released after being arrested by sheriff's deputies for driving on a suspended license.
