Police Beat for Friday, September 13th, 2013A 23-year-old rural Patoka man was arrested and taken to the Marion County Jail by Salem Police for alleged domestic battery. Caleb Harwell is accused of striking Amber Starr of East Mitchell Street at her home around 9:30 Thursday night.
27-year-old Nicholas Easley of South Brookside in Centralia remained in custody on Friday after being arrested by Centralia Police on an outstanding felony warrant.
32-year-old David Gibson of Ocala, Florida remained in jail Friday after being arrested by Centralia Police for driving on a suspended license and an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
17-year-old Justin Blankenship of Stewardson was arrested by Salem Police on an outstanding ordinance violation warrant.
38-year-old James Templin of Midlothian posted bond and was released after being arrested by Marion County Sheriff's Deputies for alleged driving under the influence.
