By Bruce Kropp, WJBD News

Two Sandoval men have been arrested for alleged burglary.  19-year-old Andrew Conrad of Diamond Springs Road and 25-year-old Michael Deadmond of Isle Street are accused of taking a crate of junk and a few bags of cans sitting under the carport of the Pamela Mays home on Barton Road in rural Junction City Thursday morning.  They were arrested at a salvage yard in Sandoval where they had taken the cans to turn them in for cash.  Sheriff's Deputies say the crate had apparently been dumped alongside the road.

40-year-old Mark Essary of North Jefferson in Salem was taken to the Marion County Jail after being arrested at the probation office for violation of bail bond.

Two others remained in custody Friday morning for alleged violation of a no contact order.  They are 20-year-old Melanie Scerba and 22-year-old Brittani Scerba of South Cherry in Centralia.

28-year-old Jeremy Smith was arrested by Wamac Police on a Marion County traffic warrant and Richland County felony warrant.

25-year-old Joseph Winkler of East Noleman of Centralia was being held on an outstanding felony warrant.

28-year-old April Bardle of North Monroe in Kinmundy posted $150 bond and was released after being arrested by Kinmundy Police for driving on suspended.
